WALDO'S AGENDA
~ Stimulate the LOCAL ECONOMY with concentrated stimulus plans.
~ Reformulate the school funding formula and provide tax relief to homeowner while maintaining the quality of our education.
~ Centralize community projects in order to share resources and get more done with less.
~ Stop dipping into the people's pockets and then claiming to "refund" money. We can't afford to have our cash parked in Albany when we need it to buy bread, milk and other essentials.
~ Give the people RELIEF AT THE PUMP;! This year, oil companies have reported the LARGEST PROFIT IN THE HISTORY OF BUSINESS (NY Times), yet New Yorkers continue to struggle. We must investigate this discrepancy and ensure that big oil spreads the wealth.

SAYVILLE SHOWS ITS SUPPORT FOR WALDO!

Thursday April 24, 2008 -- The dynamic Savyille activist Pamela Raymond and Democratic powerhouse Kay Cameron hosted a special birthday party and fundraiser for Waldo Cabrera. This overwhelming support from such a diverse crowd outside the 6th assembly district illustrates that the issues driving this 6th Assembly District election are also SUFFOLK COUNTY ISSUES.

Residents from Shirley, Sayville, Brentwood, Bay Shore, Oakdale, Huntington, Central Islip and Deek Park all participated because they realize that last year they were almost saddled with a potentially back-breaking tax increase caused by Ramos' attempted denial of $300 Million for Suffolk County.

"It's mind boggling to think that our own Long Island Assemblyman was furiously fighting for a self-serving cause that would have resulted in 4,700 Suffolk County people being fired" says Waldo.

As your assemblyman, Waldo will make our community, not New York City, his top priority. He will keep our valuable resources in the district. He will encourage reinvestment in our community and he will fight stabilize our Long Island economy.

A LIFT FROM LEVY

County executive Steve Levy visited Brentwood to show his support for Waldo Cabrera. "It's a no-brainer to support Waldo." Said Levy.
